What Does this blood Test Result Mean?

I just had a blood test &my Dr. asked for another one because he said. it showed something going on with my kidneys. Just curious what this means. (he told me to make sure I was hydrated for 2nd blood test - MAYBE the 1st test was off based on not being properly hydrated. (sorry - didn t know there was a charge) Thanks anyway

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Generally for kidney disease first serum urea and creatinine should be done.
If you have done in dehydration then due to hemoconcentration then result may come falsely high.
So I would suggest to go for serum urea, creatinine and urine routine tests, urine protein test ans cystatin C to confirm the stutus of kidney disease.
If above come abnormal then go for e GFR and USG scan
Hope this may help you

Best regards
Dr. Sagar
